Question number 2: How do we behave?

This question gets at our core values. We have identified four core values that we try to exhibit as a church body. Those values are:
1. Love: we work to love God and love others.
Mark 12:30-31 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’  The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
2. Truth: We try to speak the truth to each other.
3. Grace: As people who have experienced the grace of God we try to extend that grace to others. This means not being judgemental or harsh with each other and extending others the benefit of the doubt. We try to balance truth and grace as seen in the example of Christ.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
4. Joy: We dry to express genuine joy. Not to pretend but to live in the joy that comes from a relationship with Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
